エムラクール/Emrakulはゼンディカー・ブロックで初登場したキャラクター。エルドラージ/Eldraziの1体。

解説
エルドラージの中でも最大でもっとも恐るべきものである。それは具現化した荒廃であり、そびえ立つ場所には静寂の恐怖が巻き起こる。それは感情や物質を超えた虚無の霊気であり、それのみが恐怖を成している。その霊気の影響は、ときに生物・ときに非生物の存在すら歪ませ、狂気とともにやがて血族へと変質させる。 ゼンディカー/Zendikarのマーフォークの崇める空の女神エメリア/Emeria（エム/Em）とコー/Korの崇める風の女神カムサ/Kamsaの元型であり、未知の力によって重力を歪め大地から浮かび上がっている。異質ながら、明確な知性と個我とを備える。
エムラクールの血族たちは格子状組織、不快を引き起こす左右非対称性、先に節くれだった指の痕跡が残る触手という特徴を持つ。特にそのクジラの髭か石灰質化した植物の細胞壁の類のような格子状組織は最も特徴的で、まるで中に見えない生き物でも飼っているかのようにエルドラージ自身の動きとは独立して呼吸する。幾人かのマーフォークの学者は、その器官によってエムラクールの血族はその他の血族よりも強く重力を歪めるのだと推測している。
エムラクールの血族達は深い青と皮のような黄土色と鮮明なマゼンダを混ぜ合わせた異世界の色彩を身に帯びている。この奇怪な配色は多くのエルドラージにとっても普遍的で、かつての霊気的形態がゼンディカーの光を非自然的に反射していると考えられているがエムラクールの血族は特にその色彩が顕著である。
エムラクールの血族の落とし子は2本の小さな足で動き回り、そして親と同じように奇怪な色彩と格子状組織を持つ。
経歴
エルドラージ覚醒
ドローンと落とし子の群れから辛くもケフ砦を守り切ったギデオン・ジュラ/Gideon Juraとゼンディカー人の抵抗軍の前に出現し、ゼンディカー・ブロックの物語を締めくくった。
戦乱のゼンディカー・ブロック
エムラクールはこの数ヶ月、姿を見せていない。ゼンディカーを去ったのかどうかはブロック途中まで不明であったが、最終的にウギンの調査によって既にゼンディカーを去っていたことが判明した。
- 戦乱のゼンディカー・ブロックに収録されているエムラクールの血族はわずかにエムラクールの名残/Vestige of Emrakul1体のみである。
異界月
ソリン・マルコフ/Sorin Markovへの復讐を目論むナヒリ/Nahiriの呼びかけによって、イニストラード/Innistradに現れる。イニストラードの生物はエムラクールの影響で異形の怪物へと変質していった。
