現在11種類存在する基本土地の1つ。もちろん皆勤賞である。特殊タイプの「基本」と基本土地タイプの「森」を持つ。
1ターン目に極楽鳥/Birds of Paradiseやラノワールのエルフ/Llanowar Elvesなどのマナ・クリーチャーを唱えるのが緑の基本戦術。基本土地の中では1ターン目にタップされることが最も多いと言えるだろう。
