==定義==
「[[カード]]を'''偽装する'''/''Cloak'' [a card]」とは、「そのカードを[[裏向き]]の状態で[[戦場に出す]]。」を意味する。その[[パーマネント]]は、それが裏向きである間、[[ルール文章|文章]]や[[カード名]]や[[サブタイプ]]や[[マナ・コスト]]を持たない、[[護法]](2)を持つ2/2の[[クリーチャー]]である。

また、偽装されたパーマネントの表がクリーチャー・カードの場合、あなたが[[優先権]]を持つときならいつでもあなたはそのマナ・コストを[[支払う]]事で偽装されたパーマネントを[[表向き]]にしてよい。これは[[特別な処理]]であり、[[スタック]]を用いない。

偽装されているカードが[[変装]]を持つならば、上記の手順ではなく変装のルールにより変装[[コスト]]を支払う事で表向きにしてもよい。[[変異]]についても同様である。

==解説==
カードの正体を隠して[[変装]]相当のクリーチャーとして出し、クリーチャーなら後で正体を明かせる[[メカニズム]]。変異と変装の関係同様、[[予示]]の場持ちを良くしたアップグレード版と言える。

[[カルロフ邸殺人事件]]で初登場し、同時発売の[[カルロフ邸殺人事件統率者デッキ]]でも使用されている。

カルロフ邸殺人事件では[[多色]]を考慮すれば[[白]]以外の各[[色]]に存在する。カルロフ邸殺人事件統率者デッキの新規カードでは逆に白と無色のみ存在している。

==ルール==
基本的なルールについては[[予示#ルール]]を参照。

以下は偽装そのもののルールではないが、関係が深いので当項目で紹介する。
*護法は[[対象]]になった時にのみ機能する[[誘発型能力]]である。したがって、変装/偽装で裏向きになったクリーチャーの護法が誘発した後にそれを表向きにした場合、表面が護法を持っていなかったとしても既に[[スタック]]に置かれた護法は働く（{{CR|113.7a}}）。
**逆に表面が護法を持っていた場合でも、表面の分と裏面の分で護法が2回誘発したりはしない。対象になった時点の面が持つ護法だけが誘発する。
